Upon arriving at Sha La La, I was pleased to find a quiet retreat from the bustling city. The upgrade to a private room provided a comfortable sanctuary with essential amenities like AC and a private bathroom, a worthy addition considering the reasonable price point. The proximity to China Town and Little India made exploration a breeze - either on foot or via the nearby GoKL bus. Clean bathrooms and efficient AC in the dorms added to the overall value.While the breakfast offerings were basic, the neighboring restaurant provided enticing alternatives. The communal areas were inviting, perfect for unwinding with Netflix or socializing with fellow travelers. The courteous staff enhanced the overall experience.Although Sha La La offers essential amenities, the absence of certain luxuries like dining tables or airport shuttle services might deter some guests seeking added conveniences. For those prioritizing value and location, Sha La La presents a compelling choice.
